After being located for almost 33 years at the corner of Huron and Adams in the Inns of Court Building, this past February we moved to the Fifth Third Bank Building, commonly known as One SeaGate, which is the towering glass building located at the corner of Summit and Jackson Streets at the foot of the Martin Luther King Bridge. We are in Suite 1845, which has a commanding view of the Maumee River, the east side of Toledo and even Lake Erie.
The move was precipitated by the retirement of Kyle Alison Cubbon from our practice (read more on Kyle’s retirement in a separate post.) After her retirement, the firm now consists of two attorneys, Stuart F. Cubbon and James E. Yavorcik, who are ready, willing and extremely happy to assist you with your personal injury legal needs.
As you can imagine, the move was a daunting task but we succeeded in downsizing the lion’s share of our office to fit in a more efficient, upgraded and modern space. We donated 98% of our office furnishings to local charities, which included desks, chairs, credenzas and even printers! Of course the move was not without its challenges, but we’re up and running smoothly in our new offices. As anyone who has ever moved knows, just finding things after getting to the new place is a major task, but we found everything and did not miss a beat.
At present we are settled in and are back hard at work representing our clients.
We welcome you to stop in and see us in our new digs!
